I am trying to locate a Scottish soldier by the name of John Nairn(e), who purportedly enlisted about 1743-1746 in Colonel John Stewart's (Stuart, Steuart, etc.) Regiment of the Scots Brigade. My information suggests he was in Stewart's 1st Battalion.
I would like to discover any information that might be available, but I am interested in obtaining an enlistment records, if available.
